Grace Mauldin (she/her) is a vibrant and versatile performing artist originally from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Raised in a deeply artistic family, Grace was surrounded by music and storytelling from an early age, which sparked a lifelong passion for performance. Grace began dancing as a child, and at just six years old, her sister introduced her to musical theatre. From that moment on, she transformed from a shy little girl into a dynamic presence and fell in love with the magic of storytelling and has been pursuing it ever since.

 

Grace embodies a grounded ingenue with an edge, bringing warmth, humor, and emotional honesty to every role she takes on. She is drawn to characters who fight for something, those who aren’t afraid to be messy, bold, and real. She is passionate about bringing these kinds of roles to life across both musical theatre and TV/film, and is especially interested in work that blends emotional depth with authenticity and nuance across a wide range of styles. Whether performing pop-rock anthems, contemporary ballads, or classic musical theatre repertoire, she loves to “sing her face off”. As a strong dancer, she is passionate about musical theatre and commercial jazz, as well as ballet and tap that allows her to fully embody a character’s inner world. A collaborative and curious artist, Grace thrives in creative environments and is always eager to originate new work and collaborate with innovative directors and choreographers. 

 

Currently, Grace is proudly finishing up her senior year as a BFA Musical Theatre Major at Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, VA.

 

Outside of performing, Grace loves spending time with her family and friends, soaking up the sun at the beach, learning new chords on the guitar (even if it means sore fingers), searching for her next favorite TV show to binge, listening to artists like Anaïs Mitchell, Olivia Dean, Jennifer Nettles, and Penny & Sparrow, or cuddling with her beloved cat, Rodgers.
